As many of you already know, after over 26 years living in Atlanta, we opted to relocate to the Georgia Mountains. While the move north was for personal reasons, it naturally included and impacted my business, Turco McCarthy Design and Architecture. While I am no longer in town, I have been grateful to continue to receive inquiries to take on projects from Atlanta and Metro Atlanta clients. Thank you for continuing those referrals!
Similar to when I lived in Atlanta and accepted projects outside the perimeter, I now live outside the perimeter and will still venture in for clients! And, of course, should you know someone wishing to build in the north Georgia area, please reach out to me here in the Jasper area…
At this time, I’d like to share projects “on the boards” this year and include a photo or two of those recently completed.
In construction:
- New covered porch structure for a historic property in Roswell.
- New full renovation and large expansion of an existing home in Cobb County
Headed to permit:
- New 5,000 sf single family residence in DeKalb County (metro Atlanta)
- New 650 sf garage and ADU in Cherokee County (north GA)
- New 3,000 sf single family residence in the Big Canoe community (north GA)
On the boards:
- Kitchen remodel in Sandy Springs
- Partial single family residence remodel with deck enclosure and new garage / ADU structure in Atlanta
- New garage structure in the Bent Tree community
- ADA interior remodel for a single family residence in Atlanta (aging in place)
If you know a friend, neighbor or family member who has spoken of a project similar to any of those listed above, consider sharing my number for a free consultation as found on my website.
And here is a photo of a north Georgia addition to a single family residence completed recently.
