Large Multi Family complex, that included six white box retail units in the original design, came under new ownership. New Owners hired Turco McCarthy to evaluate changing four of the six retail spaces into apartments. With the space deep but not quite double height, the challenge is bringing the living space to the front as a half wall bedroom was not feasible.
Turco McCarthy studied the building and realized a potential light well existed over the corridor from an elevated pool deck allowing a full height bedroom at the unit’s rear with enough window to meet code. This allows the City’s skyline in view for the front loft living space.
Turco McCarthy also reconfigured the pool deck and its connection with the multi-purpose room, as well as refreshed the FF&E and furniture in the main lobby and model room.
