Adaptive Use Conversion

Turco McCarthy was approached by a design build company to provide the architecture drawings for a new brewery.  The location converted a previous book store tenant into the new food and beverage tenant.

Being a historic storefront along a main town square, the existing roof and masonry walls were to remain and be supported by a new super structure heavy timber system for support.

The rear of the tenant space overlooks a parking lot and has a shared balcony and egress stair with the other building tenants.  The new elevator and patio deck were designed an incorporated after the project’s main building phase by another consultant.
